The Seamaster Aqua Terra models with matt black dial are available exclusively with the Omega Caliber 2403 Co-Axial Escapement movement and therefore only in the 41mm and 38mm case sizes.

The Snoopy Award design is etched and painted on the sapphire crystal case back. OMEGA received this award, the highest distinction from NASA astronauts, on 5 October 1970 in recognition of its vital role in the safe return to Earth of the Apollo XIII mission.

I had the chance to chat with Roger W. Smith, a pleasant young British watchmaker who's already made some very impressive pieces during his short career. Movement is based on Omega's Caliber 2500 and was finished and assembled by Roger.
